Metamora man elected farm bureau treasurer

METAMORA - Keith Truckor of Metamora was recently elected treasurer of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation during the group's annual meeting in Columbus.

As treasurer, Mr. Truckor will hold the third highest elected position in the organization, which has 234,000 members including more than 60,000 farmer members. He also serves as a state trustee, representing members from Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties.

He has been active in the Fulton County Farm Bureau for 30 years and has held a number of offices in the organization, including president. Mr. Truckor also serves as a township clerk, and has served on American Farm Bureau's Commodity Advisory Committees.

He and his wife, Kimberly, have two children. Their family farm consists of corn, wheat, soybeans, and popcorn.
