Fulton County Health Center s Mountain Climbing Series for Better Diabetes Self-Management presents How Your Body Works, with Dr. Rebecca McClarren, from 9-11 a.m. Feb. 11 and repeated from 7-9 p.m. Feb. 12 in the meeting room of the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. Mountain Climbing is a 12-month program to help those with diabetes learn better methods of caring for a chronic disease. Dining to Donate benefit will be held from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Applebee s Restaurant on Monroe Street. The benefit is for the Caring Alternative Sexual Assault Recovery Program, which offers support to survivors of sexual assault, incest, and molestation in the form of group support and individual counseling. The goal of the program is to help victims successfully move from the initial crisis into recovery as a survivor. The program does not receive outside funding and is solely funded by donations.
