Sylvania ministry, salon raise funds to help women
2/23/2010Shine the Light Ministries and Kevin Charles Hair Salon are teaming up to raise funds for two Toledo nonprofit agencies that assist women, the Pregnancy Center and Women Blessing Women.
On Monday, proceeds from hair care and makeup services, manicures, and pedicures at the salon, 6626 Monroe St., Sylvania, will be donated to the two local charities.
Other similar fund-raising events at the Sylvania salon are scheduled for May 24, Aug. 16, and Nov. 8. Information: 419-882-3400.
