Anti-bullying advocates show free movie
11/16/2011MAUMEE -- Anti-bullying advocates are presenting a free movie screening Friday at Maumee Indoor Theatre.
The documentary Bullied: A Student, a School, and a Case that Made History will show at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., at the cinema at 601 Conant St.
A panel discussion will occur in between the showings at 7:45 p.m.
The movie is sponsored by Equality Ohio, The Village Church, and Equality Toledo. The documentary is about a student who fought against his anti-gay bullies and sued his school district in federal court.
