Dawn Bucklew’s show, From Darkness to Light, will be shown at the venue through the month of September. Bucklew describes her mixed-media work as abstract and eclectic.

“I believe everyone should use their voice. I use mine through my art in hopes that others will be emboldened to use their own,” she said.

The Art and Performance Center of West Toledo offers visual and performance art events at 2702 W. Sylvania Ave. For more information on Bucklew’s show and other events, go to the center’s Facebook or to Dawn Bucklew Art on Facebook.
