Florida firm buys south Toledo hotel

The former Holiday Inn Toledo West on Reynolds Road near the Ohio Turnpike has become the Toledo Plaza Hotel & Suites, one of 10 facilities owned by Hotel Management Group Corp., of Boca Raton, Fla.

John Wagner, managing director of the firm, said yesterday the 11-story, 218-room hotel is Hotel Management s first in Ohio. It was opened in 1974 as a Ramada Inn and became a Holiday Inn in 1995.
