Fostoria milling firm adds grain elevators

Mennel Milling Co. of Fostoria has acquired the grain elevator assets of Walton Agri-Services Inc. of Upper Sandusky.

Walton has six elevators, in Alvada, Nevada, Upper Sandusky, and Wharton, Ohio. They will be renamed and operate as Mennco Grain, a division of Mennel Milling. Mennel operates wheat flour mills in Fostoria and Bucyrus, Ohio, and in three other states and has grain elevators in Ohio, Indiana, and elsewhere.
