Cedar Fair to nominate banking expert to board
5/26/2011SANDUSKY — Cedar Fair LP said its board of directors plans to nominate Gina D. France, a northeast Ohio investment banking expert, to become a board member when the company holds its annual meeting July 7.
If elected, Ms. France, 52, president and chief executive officer of France Strategic Partners LLC, a consulting firm in Medina, Ohio, would succeed Richard Ferreira, 70, who plans to retire after 14 years as a director.
Cedar Fair also announced that members David Paradeau, 68, and Darrel Anderson, 66, have agreed to not stand for re-election, to reduce the board to seven directors, as stipulated in a pact between Cedar Fair and its largest investor, Q Investments.
