3 Toledo business owners receive $4,000 grants
10/8/2011Three area business owners have been named recipients of $4,000 U.S. Department of Labor Microenterprise Development grants.
The recipients, who received the grants this summer, are Pat Williams, who owns a safety management company; Dannie Hughes, who is involved in clothing sales, and Wes Yarborough, whose firm deals with security equipment. The grants were administered by the Lucas County Workforce Development Agency. They were honored Friday at an event sponsored by the Toledo Minority Business Assistance Center of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce.
