Walgreens to resume filling Express Scripts
7/20/2012The Walgreens chain will begin filling prescriptions from those in the Express Scripts network again in September under a multiyear contract that ends a costly impasse between the firms.
The deal announced Thursday follows disputes between Walgreens and Express Scripts that ended with the discontinuation of the contract between the drugstore operator and the pharmacy benefit manager last year. The terms of the new deal were not disclosed.
