Coca-Cola to divide business into 3 units
7/31/2012ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Co. is streamlining its business, the company said Monday.
Starting Jan. 1, the world’s largest beverage company said, its business will be built around three units: Coca-Cola Americas, Coca-Cola International, and a division overseeing bottling operations outside North America.
The new structure splits global operations about evenly; roughly half of Coca-Cola’s sales volume is from the Americas, and the rest is from other parts of the world.
