OC names McMurray chief financial officer
8/17/2012Michael C. McMurray has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Owens Corning, the Toledo-based building products company.
He replaces Duncan J. Palmer, who left the firm to become chief financial officer at Reed Elsevier Plc, a British-based legal and scientific publisher.
Mr. McMurray, 47, has been with Owens Corning since 2008, serving as vice president of investor relations, treasurer, and most recently vice president and finance leader of the firm's building materials group. He came to Owens Corning from Royal Dutch Shell in 2008, a year after Mr. Palmer came from the same oil and gas company.
