Upper Sandusky firm faces OSHA fines

UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio — The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed $126,700 in fines for Dlubak Glass Co. after an inspection of one of its two Upper Sandusky plants.

OSHA officials said they found 15 alleged health violations, many of them related to the presence of lead. It said some were willful and repeat violations.

Dlubak Glass has 15 business days to comply, request an informal conference with OSHA, or contest the findings.

Upper Sandusky is 65 miles southeast of Toledo.
