Disney to shut down Web movie service
11/20/2012LOS ANGELES — Walt Disney Co. will shut down its Web movie service, Disney Movies Online, as of Dec. 31.
The site did not attract many customers and had limited capabilities. Users couldn’t download digital movies for offline playback, and the site had no support for connected devices such as game consoles.
First Defiance to pay
5 cent-a-share dividend
First Defiance Financial Corp. announced Monday a quarterly cash dividend of 5 cents a share, payable Dec. 10 to shareholders of record Nov. 30.
