The course will be held from 7:00 am until 12:30 pm on Friday, January 18, 2013 and January 25, 2013. The cost for members is $195 per person, for non-members it is $250 per person. ACHIEVEMENTS

Buderer Drug Company of Perrysburg has been accredited by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board. Fewer than five percent of compounding pharmacies nationwide are PCAB accredited.

Axel Schmidt has been named vice president of Wacker Chempical Corp.'s Division of Silicones North and Latin America, based in Adrian, Mich. He will relocate from Germany. He succeeds Bernhard Hackl, who is returning to Wacker Chemie AG in Germany.

Toledo-based Communica, Inc., and its partner the Pursuit Group were honored with several MarCom awards from the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals. Four platinum awards, three gold awards, and three honorable mentions were received for work done on behalf of Severstal North America. Communica was also recognized with a MarCom Award for the “Pure Innovation Dinner,” a special event for BASF Corporation.
