Law group names 2 partners in Toledo office

Peter E. Krebs and Nicholas D. Malone have been named partners in the Toledo office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, the firm announced Thursday.

Both men are members of the corporate practice group.

Mr. Krebs, a graduate of Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers of public and private companies and in business reorganizations, debt restructurings, and insolvency matters. He has been with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick since 2010.

Mr. Malone’s principal areas of practice are mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions; business formation, governance, and funding, and general corporate matters. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law and has been with the firm since 2004.

Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick has more than 225 attorneys in Toledo, Columbus, Charlotte, Tampa, and Sarasota, Fla.

A spokesman for the firm said the Toledo office has 66 partners.
