ACHIEVEMENTS 

Greg Shapiro, president of H.O.T. Printing & Graphics in Northwood, received the American Advertising Federation's prestigious Silver Medal Award at the Advertising Club of Toledo's annual Addy Awards ceremony. Mr. Shapiro is the first printer to receive the award in the 100-year history of the club. The award is given each year to a person who has made outstanding contributions to advertising.

David M. Smigelski and Stephen M. Szuch have been named partners in the Toledo law firm Spengler Nathanson P.L.L. Mr. Smigelski practices in the areas of labor and employment law. Mr. Szuch maintains a broad family law practice.

Bryan Ellis of Toledo has been named treasurer of the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio. 

Dave Reese of Kaleidoscope Farms in Hancock County has been named vice president of the Ohio Christmas Tree Association.

Chris Zeigler has been named executive director of the Ohio Petroleum Council. He was formerly chief of staff to  U.S. Rep. Pat Tiberi (R., Galena, Ohio).
