Nominations sought for leaders under 40
5/13/2013Sponsors of the 20 Under 40 leadership recognition program are accepting nominations for the 18th annual event that showcases young, dynamic leaders in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
The program focuses on people under age 40 who have distinguished themselves in their careers, community, or both, with a goal of motivating other potential young leaders in the area.
Nominations are due June 14 for a candidate who does not reach his or her 40th birthday by June 30. A nomination form is available online at 20under40toledo.com.
Nominees will be asked to complete a profile with information about their careers, achievements, and community involvement. An independent panel of judges selects the 20 people to be recognized during an event Sept. 26.
“All nominees are winners. By virtue of nomination, individuals are recognized for their abilities and achievements,” said Dave DiManna of Plante & Moran, a longtime event co-sponsor.
