The City of Sylvania Economic Development Subcommittee will meet Tuesday to review the Job Creation Grant policy.

The Job Creation Grant provides financial incentives for companies to stay in Sylvania. A rebate is provided to companies based on an equation that factors in how many jobs it provides and what is paid in payroll taxes. The policy, which has been in place for more than 10 years, will be reviewed at the meeting. Any changes to the policy by the subcommittee will be forwarded to City Council.

The subcommittee meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Council Chambers, 6635 Maplewood Ave. For more information, visit cityofsylvania.com.
