Monroe Co. business summit on tap at community college

A business summit will be held 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 19 in the La-Z-Boy Center at Monroe County Community College. The keynote speaker will be Ari Weinzweig, co-founder and CEO of Zingerman’s Delicatessen in Ann Arbor.
A business summit will be held 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 19 in the La-Z-Boy Center at Monroe County Community College. The keynote speaker will be Ari Weinzweig, co-founder and CEO of Zingerman’s Delicatessen in Ann Arbor.

The Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and Monroe County Business Development Corp. will host a business summit from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 19 in the La-Z-Boy Center at Monroe County Community College. Tickets are $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. A $30 discounted price is available online for members at monroecountychamber.com.

The event’s purpose is to update, educate, and motivate Monroe County business people. The keynote speaker will be Ari Weinzweig, co-founder and CEO of Zingerman’s Delicatessen in Ann Arbor. His presentation will be “Fixing the Energy Crisis in the American Workplace: How to Turn on the Energy of Everyone in Your Organization.”
