Percentage of overdue mortgage loans slips

The percentage of Toledo-area mortgage loans that were at least 90 days overdue fell to 4.23 percent in May, down from 4.38 percent in April, according to CoreLogic, a real estate data firm.

The rate has been steadily falling for a few years. It was 5.38 percent in May, 2014.

CoreLogic said the percentage of all Toledo-area mortgage loans that were in foreclosure was 1.71 percent in May, down from 2.65 percent a year earlier.
