ACHIEVEMENTS

■ The Toledo Chapter of APICS has elected its 2014-2015 officers. They are: Bruce Brechin, First Solar, president; Lindsay Vollmar, Owens Corning, executive vice president; David Pakulski, Diamond Electric Manufacturing, vice president-administration; Sheryl Holbrook, vice president-education; Don Gardner, DTE Energy, vice president-finance; Lisa McLaughlin, La-Z-Boy, vice president-membership; Brian Pointer, Fresh Products, vice president-programs, and Brian Meyer, Owens Corning, vice president-student liaison.

■ Alison Staudinger and Doug Hohman have become partners in JDRM Engineering of Sylvania. Ms. Staudinger has been with the firm since 2006 and leads its sustainability/​green initiatives. She is in charge of its building information modeling efforts. Mr. Hohman joined the firm in 1997 and has worked on commercial, light-industrial, health-care, and educational facilities.

■ Erin Curley of RCM Architects Inc. in Findlay has been selected to receive the American Institute of Architects’ Jason Pettigrew Memorial ARE Scholarship. She is the first recipient from the Toledo Chapter of the AIA. She receives compensation for the entire Architect Registration Examination and a full set of study guides provided by Kaplan Architecture Education.
