Work crews install drywall and build a roof on two villa-style homes on Blue Ridge Drive South in the Villas of Blue Grass, a 32-lot plat in the Blue Grass Farms subdivision off of Cemetery Road in the village of Whitehouse. Developed in 2011 by veteran Toledo builder Bob Mix of Mix Enterprises, homes in the Villas of Blue Grass have about 2,000 square feet, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, basements, two-car garages, cathedral ceilings, fireplaces, covered back patios, and year-round maintenance. They are priced at about $235,000. Blue Grass Farms’ first two plats contained 80 single family homes and is nearly mature, said Mr. Mix, with just eight of the 32 lots in the final third plat left after the two villas under construction are finished.
