Two boys injured in an accident in the 2200 block of Airport Highway Tuesday were in fair condition yesterday in the Medical College of Ohio Hospitals, authorities said.

Daniel Edwards, 14, and Jacob Houtekamer, 15, both of Airport Highway, were crossing to the south side of Airport from a pizza shop about 9:35 p.m. when they were struck by an eastbound car driven by Justin W. Rodriguez, 21, of Toledo, police said.

Young Houtekamer was thrown to the north side of the road. Young Edwards was thrown into the westbound lane, where he was struck by a car driven by Caroline Knack, 21, of Chicago, police said. Police said the teenagers suffered broken legs. The incident is under investigation.
