Overpass repairs force lane closings on I-75

1/5/2001

Emergency repairs to the Lime City Road overpass on I-75 in Rossford will require lane closings starting tomorrow, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced yesterday.

Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily, northbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes while workers repair a cracked beam that has closed the overpass since last weekend. The beam was struck by a crane in April and recent sustained cold weather caused the crack to expand.

ODOT estimated the repairs will be finished by Wednesday. Once the beam is repaired, Lime City Road will reopen.
