NAPOLEON -- Two area fires in the past week were intentionally set, fire officials have determined.

Chief Lynn K. Hancock said evidence found at a home on Clairmont Avenue that caught fire Sunday and a business on County Road R that started burning on Thursday led the department and the state fire marshal's office to conclude they were arson. Both fires caused more than $100,000 in damage.
