Forest boy's death still being probed

Timothy Altvater of Forest died Jan. 7 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Police are trying to determine whether he was injured by falling off of his scooter or was hit by a car.

The sheriff's department is looking for a middle-age woman driving a small blue car, who may have stopped to help the boy but later left when rescuers arrived.
