TIFFIN -- A student at Tiffin Columbian High School has been charged with making threats against the school and other students.

Jerome Crum, 16, is being held in the Seneca County Youth Center, charged with delinquency in connection with inducing panic, aggravated menacing, and disorderly conduct. Tiffin police reported receiving an anonymous call Wednesday reporting the alleged threats. Police searched the youth's home and seized undisclosed items.

Earlier this week, a Norwalk High School student was charged with threatening to kill another student and saying he had a gun in his locker. Zachary Posateri, 17, told officers his remarks were a joke, Norwalk police said.
