Adult bookstore opens in rural Hancock County

VAN BUREN, Ohio - Just off I-75 north of Findlay, an adult bookstore opened during the weekend.

The Lion's Den Adult Superstore opened along State Rt. 613 in Allen Township. Because the township is not zoned, there was little anyone could do to stop the business owners from building a store.

Hancock County Sheriff Mike Heldman said the business is operating with an electric generator and has no telephone.

"I don't know why they were in such a hurry to open," he said.
