2 from Defiance killed in Fulton County crash

WAUSEON - A Defiance couple were killed and six people were injured yesterday when their car collided with two other vehicles about 2:45 p.m. at County Road C and State Rt. 108 just south of here.

Charles L. Tisi, 59, and Marie E. Tisi, 55, were pronounced dead at the scene, troopers at the Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol, said.

Janet Lantow, 79, also of Defi-ance, was in fair condition at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

Troopers said the Tisi car was eastbound in Fulton County on County Road C when it failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a car northbound on Route 108 driven by Robin L Albright, 47, of Delta.

Ms. Albright was thrown from her car after it went off the northeast corner of the intersection and struck a utility pole. She was in fair condition at the Fulton County Health Center.

The Tisi car also collided with a sport utility vehicle stopped at the intersection. Driver Ernesto Leal, 47, and passengers, Goldie Leal, no age given, both of Stryker, Crystal N. Leal, 16, of Liberty Center, and an infant, Alexis Ball, were treated at the Fulton County Medical Center.
