A Michigan man was in serious condition yesterday at the Medical College of Ohio Hospitals after a motorcycle accident in the 4000 block of South Avenue.

Robert Rego, 47, of Temperance, was riding his motorcycle west on South as P. Anthony Pancone, 53, of Maumee, was driving his van east about 10 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Pancone started to turn left into a private driveway in front of Mr. Rego's motorcycle when the two vehicles collided, police said.

The motorcycle hit the front of the van and went off the right side of the road. Mr. Rego suffered head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
