Bricks from the Electric Auto-Lite Co. plant form the reconstructed employee entrance, part of the memorial at the site of the facility at Champlain and Elm streets where labor history was made in 1934.

The memorial, dedicated yesterday, includes two bronze figures with picket signs. Two men were killed and over 200 injured during the strike.
