Vigil to remember man who was beaten to death

An interfaith prayer vigil will be held today in memory of Reginald Darnell Jones who was found dead May 2 in a wooded area near International Park of injuries he received in a beating.

The vigil will be near the first parking lot at the park, which is near where Mr. Jones' body was found. It will start at 6:30 p.m.

A vigil is held for each person who dies in a violent act in the city.

It is sponsored by Metro-Toledo Churches United, the Interracial Religious Coalition, Ohio Coalition Against Gun Violence, and America's Nightmare Due to the Lack of Respect and Education of Weapons.
