BOWLING GREEN - Owners of the Heritage Inn assisted-living complex and nursing suites have broken ground for a $2 million apartment building for active and independent seniors.
The 14-unit apartment building will be adjacent to the Heritage Inn at Klotz and Gypsy Lane roads. Co-owners Debra and Mark Hanley opened the 30-unit Heritage Inn in October, 1992, and added 10 nursing suites in October, 1999.
The new building will have 10 one-bedroom apartments, two two-bedroom apartments, and two efficiency apartments.
The complex will employ more than 45 people.
