Man suffers heart attack, dies; car rams diner wall

A Northwood man died after he apparently suffered a heart attack while driving yesterday and his vehicle crashed through the front wall of Burger King at 902 Phillips Ave., ending up in thedining area about 10 feet from the counter, police said.

Melvin Wishon, Sr., 56, was pronounced dead at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where he was taken after the accident at 5:45 a.m., police said.

He was driving north on Haverhill Drive, trying to turn left onto westbound Phillips, when he apparently suffered the attack. His vehicle continued north over a curb and into the restaurant, police said.
