2-vehicle crash kills 58-year-old Clyde man

CLYDE - A Clyde man died early yesterday after he drove into the path of another car just west of here, police said.

Thomas Wadsworth, 58, was northbound on Township Road 224 and failed to stop at a stop sign at County Road 213 in Sandusky County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. Mr. Wadsworth pulled into the path of a westbound car driven by Emma Jenkins, 74, of Fremont.

Mr. Wadsworth, who was not wearing a seat belt, died after the 10:50 a.m. accident, the Fremont post said.

Ms. Jenkins was treated at Fremont Memorial Hospital.
