Lucas County OKs funds for work near stadium

9/28/2001

The Lucas County Commissioners yesterday approved the spending of $400,660 for work on buildings near the downtown stadium that's being built for the Toledo Mud Hens.

The money is being used to stabilize a building at 400 Washington St. and to repair floors and joists at 406 Washington St., the site of the Mud Hens' new offices.

Some of the money will go to do brick work on buildings on St. Clair Street near the ballpark.
