Preschool Storytime

Tuesdays, February 5 - March 26, 10 a.m.

3-5 year olds

A special weekly program of stories, songs, fingerplays, films, and puppets for children ages 3 to those entering kindergarten.

Create an African Mask

February 5, 4 p.m.

Grades K-5

Make your own African Mask! Masks will be on display throughout Black History Month.

African Folktales

February 12, 4 p.m.

Join us for delightful African Folktales and make your own red, black, and green Kufi hat to wear home.

Mott Brownies' Book Series 1

Calling all authors! Learn how to write short stories and poems which will be compiled in the Mott Brownies' Book. Milk and brownies will be provided.

Mott Brownies' Book Series 2

February 26, 4 p.m.

Grades K-5

Learn how to write an autobiography and then draw a self portrait. All will be submitted in the Mott Brownies' Book. Milk and brownies will be provided.

WannaBees

WannaBees! Tina Taylor, Vice President/Controller with the Indiana Trust Company, will share her career experiences, answer questions, and invite you to participate in activites. What will you WannaBee when you grow up?

Experience Japan

Coloring Contest

Show your coloring talents at our Coloring Contest. Baskets of goodies will be awarded to the winners. Pictures must be completed in the library.

10 Cent Storybook Carnival

April 16, 5:30 - 7 p.m.

All ages

The Mott Branch will be transformed into a carnival full of Real Live storybook characters including a special guest appearance from a monster out of the picture book Where the Wild Things Are. Games and food will be included for your enjoyment and prizes will be awarded to winners! Lots of prizes and fun and only a 10 cents charge for food and games and everything. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
