Bond issues, levies meet ballot deadline

For the third time in a little more than two years, Lucas County voters will be asked to approve a tax increase for the Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board.

County commissioners voted yesterday to put a 0.5-mill, 5-year levy for the agency on the May 7 ballot. Yesterday was the deadline to file with the board of elections to place candidates and issues on the primary ballot.

Holland village: Measure to allow the village to purchase natural gas for residents in bulk.

Providence Township: 5-mill, 5-year additional levy for fire and emergency medical services.

WOOD COUNTY

Bloom Township: 0.4-mill, 5-year additional levy for fire protection.

Bowling Green schools: 0.5 percent, 5-year income tax renewal for current expenses. (Part of the district is in Henry County.)

Grand Rapids Township: 1-mill, 4-year renewal levy for improvements to town hall.

Haskins village: 3-mill, 5-year additional levy for police protection.

Lake Township: 3.75-mill, permanent additional levy for police protection.

Montgomery Township: 1-mill, 3-year renewal levy for road improvements.

Northwest Wood ambulance district: 5-mill, 3-year replacement levy for emergency medical services.

Northwood schools: 4.9-mill, permanent additional levy for current expenses.

Otsego schools: 1 percent, permanent additional income tax for current expenses. (Part of the district is in Lucas and Henry counties.)

Perrysburg schools: 6.9-mill, 2-year additional levy for emergency expenses.

Amboy Township: 1-mill, 5-year renewal levy for fire protection.

Chesterfield Township: 0.7-mill, 5-year renewal levy for fire protection.

Clinton Township: 0.4 mill, 5-year replacement levy for Wauseon Union Cemetery maintenance and operations. (The township includes the city of Wauseon.)

Delta village: 0.5-mill, 5-year replacement levy for fire protection.

Delta village: A second 0.5-mill, 5-year replacement levy for fire protection.

Delta village: 0.5-mill, 5-year replacement levy for recreation.

Evergreen schools: 1.15-mill, 23-year, $2.2-million bond issue for elementary school construction and renovation of the old high school.

Margaretta schools: 1.5-mill, 5-year renewal levy for permanent improvements. (Most of the school district is in Erie County.)

Sandusky County School of Hope: 2.2-mill additional continuing levy for maintenance and operations.

Sandusky County Senior Citizens Center: 0.1-mill, 5-year renewal and 0.1-mill, 5-year additional for providing and maintenance of senior services and facilities.

Woodmore schools: 5.4-mill, 5-year additional levy for emergency current expenses. (Part of the district is in Ottawa County.)
