ADAMhs board announces $6.1M in service contracts

ARCHBOLD, Ohio - The four-county ADAMhs board, which provides alcohol, drug, and mental health services, has approved $6.1 million for service contracts with 11 agencies and to purchase medication.

The contracts will allow for a wide range of free or reduced cost mental health, alcohol/drug, and family violence services for Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties.

Agencies receiving service contracts were Maumee Valley Guidance Center, $2,002,533; First Call for Help, $1,209,998; Family Service of Northwest Ohio, $875,000; Five County Alcohol/Drug Program, $730,000; Quadco Rehabilitation Center, $246,500; New Home Development Co., $225,000.

The Center for Child and Family Advocacy, $165,000; Northwest Ohio Community Action Commission, $70,000; Sarah's House of Williams County, $17,000; Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio (Fulton County), $14,800, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio (Williams County), $5,000.

The board approved a $55,000 increase for medication next year. It will spend $575,000.
