Lima woman indicted in firearms purchase

The U.S. Attorney's Office has indicted a Lima, Ohio, woman in the alleged illegal purchase of firearms.

Tracy James, 27, was indicted for making false statements in the purchase of firearms, which carries a possible 10-year prison term and a $250,000 fine.

Federal law prohibits persons under felony indictment to buy firearms. According to federal authorities, Ms. James was under felony indictment but failed to reveal it when she bought two firearms.
