Income survey to help N. Baltimore find grants

11/20/2002

NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio - The village plans to conduct an income survey early next month to determine whether it is eligible for state and federal grant programs that could help with water, sewer, and street projects.

North Baltimore has identified some $16 million in improvements to its infrastructure that it hopes to make in the next several years. Village Administrator Ken Sauer said the village hopes to apply for as much grant funding as possible.

Representatives of WSOS Community Action Commission in Fremont will conduct the survey by going door-to-door from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2-6. Survey information will be confidential and will only be used by the Ohio Department of Development to determine the village's eligibility for grants.
