Bluffton woman killed in Allen County crash

BLUFFTON, Ohio — A Bluffton woman died yesterday after losing control of her pickup truck and crashing on I-75 in Allen County.

Tamantha Marshall, 44, was southbound on the expressway near the Phillips Road overpass at 3:17 a.m. when her pickup went off the left side of the roadway, according to the Lima post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. Ms. Marshall's vehicle then crossed the southbound lanes and traveled off the road into a ditch, rolling twice and ejecting her.

Ms. Marshall was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. According to troopers, alcohol was involved in the crash. Ms. Marshall was not wearing a seat belt.
