Natalie Kirby and her brother, Kyle, prune an apple tree at Erie Orchard & Cider Mill in Erie Township.

The two will help trim up to 4,000 peach and apple trees in preparation for the spring growing season.

The orchard also sells cut-your-own Christmas trees.
