Bok to speak on 'The Editors'

3/14/2003

Francis Bok was enslaved at age 7, one of thousands of Sudanese to meet that fate.

Mr. Bok escaped his slave master in 1996, 10 years after his capture, and has settled in the United States.

He will speak about his experiences and slavery in Sudan on The Editors television program. He will be questioned by Marilou Johanek, of The Blade editorial board.

The Editors will be broadcast at 9 tonight on WGTE-TV, Channel 30, and at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on WBGU-TV, Channel 27.
