3 charged in bomb hoaxes in Perrysburg

4/10/2003

Three juveniles were arrested Tuesday for two bomb threats called into Perrysburg High School in February, Perrysburg police said yesterday.

The three juveniles — two girls and a boy, all 16, and students at the school — were charged with delinquency in connection with inducing panic, a fourth-degree felony. They were held in the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center after their arrests.

The phone calls to the school were made Feb. 11 and Feb. 19, resulting in the temporary evacuation of the campus.

Police said two of the three youths were involved in both incidents, while the third was involved in the Feb. 19 call.
