Youth speakers to visit Ottawa-Glandorf High

4/21/2003

OTTAWA, Ohio — A trio of youth motivational speakers will stop in Ottawa on Wednesday as part of their travels throughout the United States and Canada.

The speakers are part of Embracing Cultures Tours, an outgrowth of events of Sept. 11, 2001, and focused on conveying the need to embrace cultural differences.

An estimated 400 Putnam County middle-school students will attend the presentation at Ottawa-Glandorf High School.

A service project that day will involve drafting peace messages and assembling school kits that will be sent to children in Kenya.
