TIFFIN - A Tiffin man has been convicted of threatening a Seneca County sheriff's deputy and his children while being booked into the county jail last November.

Nathan Haskell, 23, was found guilty Tuesday of intimidation, a third-degree felony, in Seneca County Common Pleas Court. County Prosecutor Ken Egbert, Jr., said Haskell was arrested Nov. 24 for driving under suspension. After his arrest, he created a disturbance at the jail and threatened to kill Deputy Mark Lawson and his family.

Haskell could be sentenced to as much as five years in prison. He is being held in the Seneca County jail pending sentencing, which has not been scheduled.
