Agency plans photo contest

The Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments is having its first regional photo contest this year.

Contest judges will evaluate photos of sites around the region in five categories: Wheels of the Region, Back to Nature, Face of the Community, We're Industrious, and Our Changing Communities. Entries are due by Sept. 15.

Winning photos will be featured in a calendar and displayed in the council's offices. “We're looking for photos we can blow up for artwork,” Peggy Ricard, the council's graphics supervisor, said.
