Ottawa Wildlife Refuge gets additional $850,000

The appropriation from the Senate Appropriations Committee's Subcommittee on the Interior was sponsored by Ohio Republican Sens. Mike DeWine and George Voinovich.

The wildlife refuge, which covers 5,700 acres, was created in 1961 and attracts 130,000 people annually.
